Pelosi Allows Only 2 Amendments to Healthcare Bill
Posted by on November 07, 2009

Last night, as the House Committee on Rules considered H.R. 3962, the Pelosi Government-Run Healthcare Bill, only 2 of 216 submitted amendments were accepted. This denies members 72 hours to review last minute changes and only allows four hours of debate today - which are underway on the floor now. You can see here what Democrats have done to hurry this bill into passage. I'll be joining the debate shortly and voting against this trillion dollar takeover of healthcare.

Thank you for fighting for us. Please never give up and never give in to the demands of the special interests and those who would bankrupt our country because they don't understand that we pay twice for everything that comes."for free" from the government. It is a shame that so many of our elected officials don't remember that they work for us. Rest assured ANYONE REGARDLESS OF PARTY who votes in favor of this atrocious debt-inducing power grab, and any other bills that take away the precious freedoms that we have in this country, will find out at their next election exactly how the people feel about their disrespect of the American public, and their disrespect for the sacrifices that were made to

We fought with intelligence. We were informed. We wrote letters and we had tea parties. We were called the terrorists and trouble makers. We are Christians. Some of us not. But we all agree this Health Care bill shoved through and talks behind locked doors and millions of dollars to print the 2000 page Pelosi bill, was not in the best interest of anyone. Democrats afraid to vote ethically because of pressure from peers and retribution from the ruling group. We shall pay dollars for the next couple of years for something not in place or available to those paying the tax. I contacted S.Brown, who gave me a form letter but I did tell him if he voted for this bill that he knew was impossible to read in days, this bill not healthy for our country, a bill that his own father, a deceased physician, if alive, would disown him over his vote on this bill. The insurance company and medicare money, that put this senator through Yale. He didn't complain then! I told him, I would give every nickle and dime, and time, to make sure he was not re-elected. He was not elected in Richland county and left to run in a different county. In the end, we will be bankrupted, have no health care and those whose shamefully pushed this bill, will have what it all comes down to-central government power and higher unemployment.
