Veterans
Though it is important to fully support our troops in the field, it is no less important to support them when they return and in their times of need. These brave men and women have risked everything to serve and defend us, and we owe them our very best. Our veterans deserve excellent benefits and the best medical care that we can give them—particularly when they return home wounded. For this reason, I and my staff are available to help our Ohio veterans from the 4th District when they need assistance in dealing with the Veterans’ Administration or Department of Defense.

"Throughout our history, it has been the sacrifices of brave men and women in our Armed Forces that have ensured we can continue to live securely in the greatest land of freedom and opportunity that has ever existed. We can never repay the debt we owe for the sacrifices that they have paid, but we can honor them for their service. We once again, on this Veterans Day, express our deepest gratitude."

"Tonight, Staff Sergeant Jason Gibson of Marysville had the great honor of joining First Lady Michelle Obama to watch the State of the Union Address from the House Gallery. It was a most worthy recognition. Jason is a shining example of the kind of men and women who serve in our nation's Armed Forces.
