A top Republican who defended President Trump throughout his impeachment is hopeful he will restart the economy once the coronavirus begins to fade.
Speaking with Dana Perino on Fox News Thursday, Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan championed Trump for producing "one of the strongest economies ever" and said he thinks an economic rebound from the coronavirus "will happen quickly."

A bipartisan House compromise bill, which overhauls the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, now heads to the Senate ahead of a Sunday deadline. The House passed the measure with support and opposition coming from a mix of members on both sides of the aisle.
