House Freedom Caucus Holds Annual Elections
November 16, 2015
Tonight the House Freedom Caucus re-elected Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) to serve as Chairman and a Member of the Board. The House Freedom Caucus also elected Reps. Steve Pearce and Jeff Duncan to serve as Board Members on the nine-member panel. Current Board Members Rep. Labrador and Rep. DeSantis chose not to seek reelection. Rep. Labrador will continue to serve on the Board as an Ex-Officio Member to help lead communications efforts for the Caucus.
The House Freedom Caucus released the following statement:
"Tonight we reaffirmed our strong support for Rep. Jordan's leadership by electing him to another term as Chairman and a Board Member of the House Freedom Caucus. We also applaud the elections of Reps. Pearce and Duncan to serve as Board Members. We are confident they will lead us in giving a voice to countless Americans who feel that Washington does not represent them, by supporting open, accountable and limited government, the Constitution and the rule of law, and policies that promote the liberty, safety and prosperity of all Americans."
