House Freedom Caucus praises ruling on President Obama’s unconstitutional immigration actions

February 17, 2015
The House Freedom Caucus issued the following statement today regarding a federal judge's temporary injunction blocking President Obama's executive actions on immigration:

"President Obama said himself 22 times that he could not unilaterally change America's immigration policy without congressional approval. Thankfully a judge today stood up for the Constitution and temporarily stopped his unfair and unlawful executive actions. Now it's time for Senate Democrats to follow the will of the American people and allow debate on the House-passed bill to fund the Department of Homeland Security."
