Jordan Announces 2016 Art Competition

Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Urbana) has announced the 2016 Congressional Art Contest and encouraged high school students in the Fourth Congressional District to submit their best artwork to their schools.

Up to two winners may be chosen from each high school, and students must be residents of the Fourth Congressional District to be eligible. The fourteen counties in the Fourth Congressional District include Allen, Auglaize, Champaign, Crawford, Logan, Sandusky, Seneca, Shelby, Union and parts of Erie, Huron, Lorain, Marion and Mercer.

School-level winners must be received by Congressman Jordan's district office by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 in order to participate in the district-wide competition. The district winner will be announced at a reception at Temple Christian School (982 Brower Road, Lima, Ohio) on Friday, April 22, from 5-7 p.m.

The district winner's artwork will be displayed at the United States Capitol for one year, along with winners from across the country. For more information, visit /constituentservices/artcompetition.htm.
