Jordan Announces Congressional Art Competition Winner

A Champaign County student was named the Fourth Congressional District winner of this year's Congressional Art Competition, Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Urbana) has announced.
Bryce Williams of Triad High School won the district-wide competition with his colored pencil drawing. This piece, entitled "Summer Memories" will be displayed in the United States Capitol for one year.
Chloe Slaboda of Mansfield Senior High School was named runner-up, while Elizabeth Winks of Sidney High School took third place. An Honorable Mention was awarded to Alyssa Wenig of Ridgedale High School in Marion County.

This year's contest was judged by Artist Mike Major of Urbana. Congressman Jordan plans to meet with competition winner Bryce Williams during the student's visit to Washington this summer.
