As in past years, the district winner's artwork will be displayed at the United States Capitol for one year, along with winners from across the country.  District winners may also be offered an art college scholarship and receive airfare to visit Washington, D.C. and view the artwork on display.

Jordan offered his thanks to the Marysville Art League and their Director Kim Heminger for hosting the reception, providing refreshments and arranging for the judging of the artwork at the Houston House.  He also thanked judges Ben Pinciotti, Sarah Will and Priscilla Roggenkamp for their excellent service.
