Jordan to chair subcommittee hearing on Justice Department response to IRS targeting scandal

On Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. in room 2154 of the Rayburn House Office Building, Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Urbana) will chair a hearing held by the U.S. House Oversight and Government Reform Committee's Subcommittee on Economic Growth, Job Creation and Regulatory Affairs. The hearing, entitled "Examining the Justice Department's Response to the IRS Targeting Scandal," will examine the U.S. Department of Justice's response to the Internal Revenue Service's targeting of conservative tax-exempt applicants.
The Honorable James M. Cole, deputy attorney general of the Justice Department, will appear as a witness.
