Jordan to co-chair hearing on restoring Congressional power of the purse

On Thursday, December 1 at 2 p.m., Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform's Subcommittee on Health Care, Benefits and Administrative Rules, and Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.), chairman of the Subcommittee on Government Operations, will co-chair a joint hearing titled, " Restoring the Power of the Purse: Legislative Options ."

The hearing will feature as witnesses Heather Krause, an acting director at the U.S. Government Accountability Office; Kevin Kosar, a senior fellow at R Street Institute; Hudson Hollister, executive director of the Data Coalition; and Stephen Kohn, executive director of the National Whistleblower Center.
