Jordan honored with award for manufacturing legislative excellence

September 29, 2016
The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) has awarded Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Urbana) the NAM Award for Manufacturing Legislative Excellence. The award is based on his votes in the 114th Congress on issues that are critical to manufacturing in the United States.

"The Fourth District is a district that grows things and makes things. Manufacturing is incredibly important to folks here, and I'm proud to fight for their interests in Washington. It's an honor to receive this award, and I'm grateful for the advocacy that the National Association of Manufacturers does on the behalf of millions of Americans and thousands of the families I represent."

Rep. Jordan will be visiting manufacturing facilities in the 4th District next week in honor of Manufacturing Day on October 7.

Key Votes included in the Voting Record are selected by small, medium and large manufacturing executives who serve on the NAM's Key Vote Advisory Committee.

The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) is the largest manufacturing association in the United States, representing small and large manufacturers in every industrial sector and in all 50 states. Manufacturing employs more than 12 million men and women, and contributes $2.17 trillion to the U.S. economy annually.
