Jordan questions Deputy IG Timothy Camus about Lois Lerner’s missing emails (VIDEO)

February 27, 2015
Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Urbana) today participated in a hearing of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee entitled, "IRS: TIGTA Update." J. Russell George, Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration, and Timothy Camus, Deputy Inspector General for Investigations, were witnesses in the hearing.

During the hearing Rep. Jordan said:

"The IRS takes four months to tell us something as important as, ‘We lost Lois Lerner's emails,' and their excuse is, ‘We're doing our due diligence, we're doing everything we darn well can do to get those." And then when they do make it public to the whole world … in two weeks you got them. … All you do is get in the car and drive to Martinsburg, West Virginia, not that far, one state over, and get the tapes."
