Jordan Responds to Latest Healthcare Bill

Today, Rep. Jordan released the following statement in response to President Obama's healthcare proposal;

"The President's healthcare plan contains the same bad policies that have been rejected by Americans throughout the recent healthcare debate. It still imposes mandates on individuals and employers, still continues to ignore real medical liability reform and still raises taxes.

This repackaged plan puts Washington bureaucrats in charge of defining ‘quality' healthcare, a strong point of contention among my constituents in the fourth district. Rather than integrating common-sense solutions into a plan that all Americans can support, the White House is doubling down on their effort to create a government takeover of healthcare."
