Jordan statement on President Trump's Ex-Im Bank nominees

Following President Donald Trump's announcement that he would nominate former U.S. Representative Scott Garrett to serve as president of the Export-Import Bank and former Rep. Spencer Bachus to serve on the Ex-Im Bank's board, Rep. Jim Jordan made the following statement:

"It's no secret that I have been opposed to the Export-Import Bank, but I can say without reservation that the president could not have picked two finer people to help bring some common sense reform to that troubled institution than my friend Scott Garrett and my former colleague Spencer Bachus."
