Jordan statement on spending deal

Congressman Jim Jordan made the following comments today regarding the proposed budget deal that Congressional leadership unveiled last night:

"Here we go again. Another last-minute, back-room spending deal by the White House and Congressional leaders that busts the budget caps and allows unlimited debt for the next 18 months. No wonder so many Americans distrust Congress. The endless borrowing and spending must stop before it breaks the backs of hard-working taxpayers. Republicans need to stand up and do what we said we would do when we campaigned for the job, which is work to control federal spending and stop pushing our nation further and further into debt."
