U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) and U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH-04) today introduced the "Second Amendment Enforcement Act of 2015," legislation to restore Second Amendment rights in the District of Columbia.

"In order to achieve the American Dream, people need to be able to live in safe communities and be able to protect themselves, their families and their properties from danger.

The House Freedom Caucus (HFC) has hired Steve Chartan to serve as its executive director.

Prior to joining HFC, Chartan was a policy advisor for the Senate Steering Committee under Chairman Mike Lee (R-UT), and previously Chairman Pat Toomey (R-PA). Before that he served as a legislative staffer in Senator Toomey's Washington, D.C. office. He graduated from Duke University.
