Rep. Jordan will also participate tomorrow in the first public hearing of the House Select Committee on Benghazi. The hearing will focus on security improvements for U.S.
Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Urbana) made the following comments after the report's release:
Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Urbana), chairman of the U.S. House Oversight and Government Reform Subcommittee on Economic Growth, Job Creation and Regulatory Affairs, has called on IRS Commissioner John Koskinen to testify before his subcommittee at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 17. The hearing will be held in room 2154 of the Rayburn House Office Building.
While working at DOJ, Strelka represented the IRS in Z Street v. Koskinen, a civil suit related to the IRS targeting of conservative groups.
Following the veterans' court visit, Rep. Jordan will attend the Marion County Popcorn Festival. Later on Thursday he will speak at a town hall meeting in Tiffin. The meeting will be hosted by the North Central Ohio Conservatives.

This is ironic, because additional accountability is precisely the point of legislative efforts to reform electronic surveillance.
