When testifying before the Benghazi Select Committee in October of 2015, Hillary Clinton said to us under oath, "there was nothing marked classified on my emails, either sent or received."We now know that statement is patently false, according to the FBI. Sadly, it isn't the only false statement she has tried to push.
When announcing his reasons for recommending against prosecution, Comey said that the "context" of Clinton's actions needed to be taken into account. Rep. Jordan questioned Comey regarding the context.
Rep. Jordan made the following comments:
"The House Freedom Caucus opposes the Homeland Safety and Security Act, H.R. 5611, for failing to do enough to address the threat of radical Islamic terrorism and because of the inclusion of gun control provisions that fail to adequately protect due process.
The chairman mentioned that before the attack ended, no military assets were headed towards Benghazi. But what did start before the attack was over was the political spin.
"Today the Supreme Court undermined the health and safety of vulnerable women in Texas by overturning common-sense regulations that would have ensured abortion facilities met basic medical safety standards.
"Today, the Judiciary Committee heard the case for impeachment of the IRS Commissioner. Mr. Koskinen is guilty of gross negligence, dereliction of duty, and violating the public trust and therefore meets the legal standard for impeachment of a public official.
