WASHINGTON, D.C. - Republican Leader John Boehner (R-West Chester) joined Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Urbana) and other members of the Ohio Republican Congressional delegation in a letter to Ohio Attorney General Richard Cordray (D) asking that he join his fellow Attorneys General in challenging the constitutionality of H.R. 3590, the recently-signed health care overhaul bill.

Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Urbana) made the following statement on the narrow passage of H.R. 3590, the latest move toward a Democrat takeover of healthcare that passed 219-212 late Sunday evening.
"As America engaged in a national discussion over health care for the past year, I heard directly from thousands of our constituents. They called, e-mailed. wrote letters and attended town hall meetings. They talked to me at the grocery store and even traveled to Washington. Their message was clear: We don't want this bill."

Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Urbana) is seeking Fourth District students interested in participating in the Page Program at the U.S. Capitol this summer.
Pages are sponsored by individual members of Congress. During their service, they help with administrative duties related to House floor proceedings and act as messengers in the Capitol's complex of buildings. They are required to live at the Page Residence Hall under the close supervision of Program staff and proctors.

Washington D.C. – Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Urbana) called today's decision by Congressional Republicans to unilaterally forgo earmark requests "an important first step in restoring fiscal responsibility back to Washington D.C."
