Taxes
I am committed to the idea that the hardworking families of Ohio know best how to spend their own money and that more of it should remain in their own pockets. Low taxes foster a healthier economy across the board—encouraging entrepreneurship, job creation and improving the international competitiveness of our nation’s businesses.
I will continue to support the extension of the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts and will stand adamantly against the return of the marriage penalty, the halving of the child tax credit or the continuation of the death tax. I also support phasing out the oppressive Alternative Minimum Tax and reforming our tax code to make it more manageable and understandable to Americans.

"The Freedom Caucus applauds the passage of H.R. 5053, which will safeguard Americans' First Amendment right to free speech, without risk of government retaliation.

In life, the sooner you get about fixing a problem, the easier it is to solve. The longer you put it off, the more dramatic and drastic measures you have to take.
The same holds true for problems facing the country. That's why a number of us conservatives in Congress oppose the current budget plan being proposed in the House of Representatives.
Since the beginning of the year, conservatives have called for a budget that reflects the will of the American people. This means a budget that begins to address the problem of Washington's out-of-control borrowing and spending.
"For the past seven years, the Obama administration has systematically eroded the Constitutional freedoms of the American people while failing to secure our borders and protect our country from the growing threat of terrorism.
