The trial that began last week in a Manhattan courtroom is a travesty of justice. There’s no two ways around it. For the first time ever in American history, a politically elected prosecutor is trying to jail a former president and current declared candidate for that office. This prosecution, coming less than seven months before the presidential election, threatens to undermine the election and ultimately harm our democracy.

LIMA, OH (WLIO) - Congressman Jim Jordan is urging President Biden to make a disaster declaration for the 11 counties affected by the March 14th tornado outbreak.

Jordan sent a letter requesting a major disaster declaration for the areas hit by the tornadoes. The declaration will allow the residents to get federal aid for their recovery. Jordan says 250 families in Logan County had their homes hit by the tornado, and recovery aid will go beyond what resources the state and local governments could provide.

MANSFIELD — Jeff Gorman said his father might not have let Congressman Jim Jordan present him with a congressional record.

“He wouldn’t need the recognition to continue his work, but I’m sure he would have been very proud and honored,” Gorman said of his late father Jim. “It’s a permanent record of his service to the country, to the Mansfield community and to himself.”

U.S. Rep. Jordan, who represents Ohio’s 4th Congressional District, honored Gorman in the House of Representatives in November. He presented the Gorman family with a tribute on Tuesday afternoon.

Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee sent a letter to Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis on Thursday demanding the Democrat prosecutor provide answers over her indictment of former President Donald Trump and his associates.

“Your indictment and prosecution implicate substantial federal interests, and the circumstances surrounding your actions raise serious concerns about whether they are politically motivated,” the letter reads.
