A Logan County student was named the Fourth Congressional District winner of this year's Congressional Art Competition, Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Urbana) has announced.

William Kennedy, a student at Benjamin Logan High School, won the district-wide competition with his pencil drawing. This piece, entitled Autumn Pathway will be displayed in the United States Capitol for one year.

Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Urbana) today joined his Republican Study Committee (RSC) colleagues in offering a balanced budget proposal on the House floor. The measure, which came within 18 votes of passing, was offered as a conservative alternative to the Republican spending plan for Fiscal Year 2012.
