Jordan toured the facilities of Crawford County munitions manufacturer Galion LLC, visited with the owners of Elkhorn Lake Hunt Club, and tonight he will speak to the northwest Ohio chapter of the Safari Club.
Of the visits Rep. Jordan said:
"For the past seven years, the Obama administration has systematically eroded the Constitutional freedoms of the American people while failing to secure our borders and protect our country from the growing threat of terrorism.
"The Obama administration has repeatedly undermined the Constitution and rule of law. They have targeted Americans' First Amendment freedoms through the IRS, religious liberty through Obamacare, and Second Amendment rights through executive actions. Instead of attacking Americans' liberties, the President should work with Congress to secure our borders and protect the country from terrorism.
Of the decision Rep. Jordan said:
Rep. Jordan questioned Kadzik about Justice Department delays in delivering requested documents to the Oversight committee, and also about the Justice Department's investigation of the IRS and its decision to not prosecute anyone for its targeting of conservative organizations.
"Since 2010, Republicans have told the American people that we heard their frustration over Obamacare and would repeal this terrible law. Today we took the first step toward finally repealing Obamacare.
"I was saddened to learn of Mike Oxley's passing after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was a friend, a mentor, and one of the finest public servants I've ever met. From the FBI, to the state legislature, to serving with distinction for 25 years as Fourth District Congressman, he reached pinnacles of power, but he never lost touch with the common sense values he learned growing up in Findlay.
Of the event Rep. Jordan said:
Rep. Jordan asked Bersin about how many of the 20 million people who visit the U.S. each year under the U.S. visa waiver program had overstayed their visas, but Bersin was unable to answer his question
