Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) called for movement on legislation to impeach Internal Revenue Service Commissioner John Koskinen today during a special order on the floor of the House of Representatives. Rep. Jordan was joined by Reps. Ron DeSantis, Ted Yoho, Doug Lamborn and Jody Hice.

Under Commissioner Koskinen's watch, with congressional subpoena and preservation order in place and with Congress, the Department of Justice and the IRS inspector general asking for documents, the IRS destroyed 422 backup tapes that contained potentially 24,000 e-mails.

Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Urbana) has announced the 2016 Congressional Art Contest and encouraged high school students in the Fourth Congressional District to submit their best artwork to their schools.

Up to two winners may be chosen from each high school, and students must be residents of the Fourth Congressional District to be eligible. The fourteen counties in the Fourth Congressional District include Allen, Auglaize, Champaign, Crawford, Logan, Sandusky, Seneca, Shelby, Union and parts of Erie, Huron, Lorain, Marion and Mercer.

Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) will join several colleagues for a panel discussion tomorrow at the 2016 Conservative Policy Summit hosted by Heritage Action For America. The panel is titled, "Driving a Conservative Agenda: How the House Freedom Caucus is changing the game for conservatives." The panel will take place at 12:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Heritage Foundation's headquarters on Massachusetts Ave. Fred Barnes, executive editor of The Weekly Standard, will moderate the discussion.

Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) will visit the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library and Museums in Fremont on Presidents' Day, February 15, to raise awareness about the Library and Museums and to encourage students to appreciate Ohio presidential history. Jordan will sponsor horse-drawn sleigh rides for the first 100 children who can correctly answer presidential trivia questions, including those about our 19th president.
