The House Freedom Caucus issued the following statement today regarding a federal judge's temporary injunction blocking President Obama's executive actions on immigration:

"President Obama said himself 22 times that he could not unilaterally change America's immigration policy without congressional approval. Thankfully a judge today stood up for the Constitution and temporarily stopped his unfair and unlawful executive actions.

Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Urbana) joined House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) and 168 other House Republicans in sending a letter to Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) demanding that the House-passed bill to fund the Department of Homeland Security be approved for debate in the U.S. Senate.

The letter reads, in part:

Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Urbana) today co-chaired a joint hearing of his House Oversight and Government Reform Subcommittee on Health Care, Benefits, and Administrative Rules, and the Subcommittee on National Security, entitled, "The President's Executive Actions on Immigration and Their Impact on Federal and State Elections." Witnesses included secretaries of state from Ohio and Kansas, among the states where President Obama's unconstitutional actions on immigration will increase the potential for voter fraud.

During the hearing Rep. Jordan said:

Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Urbana) has joined Ohio Senator Rob Portman and the rest of the Ohio Republican congressional delegation in sending a letter to President Obama urging him to address potential voter fraud in Ohio due to his executive actions on immigration.

The letter to President Obama reads, in part:

Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Urbana), chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform's Subcommittee on Health Care, Benefits, and Administrative Rules, made the following comments after today's vote to repeal the 2010 Affordable Care Act in the U.S. House of Representatives:

"Obamacare was a bad bill, sold deceptively to the American people, and we've been having buyer's remorse ever since.

Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Urbana) will join Mayor Jeff Reser, Service Safety Director Jeff Wagner and other area officials on Monday to open his new Bucyrus district office to serve the residents of the Fourth Congressional District of Ohio.

Of the new office, Rep. Jordan said:

Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Urbana) grilled Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Legislative Affairs Joel Rubin today during the third hearing before the U.S. House of Representatives Select Committee on Benghazi. Rep. Jordan questioned Mr. Rubin about the U.S. Department of State's failure to hand over documents related to the 2012 terrorist attack on a U.S. facility in Benghazi, Libya. The Benghazi Select Committee subpoenaed relevant documents in 2013 that have still not been given to the committee.

During the questioning period, Rep. Jordan said:
